In the thick of sleep deprivation, battles and tattles, potty training, long, hot summer days, summer colds and so much other hurry-up and busy-ness, it sure is comforting to be reminded of the bigger picture. The YouTube link here to Elder Holland's talk provides just that.

My dearest Michelle, I mentioned a while back you should write a column for Moms, not realizing you are – in your blog. You truly exemplify “Motherhood, an eternal partnership” as Elder Holland mentioned in his beautiful talk. Your artistic use of words in the phrase “In the thick of sleep deprivation, battles and tattles, potty training, long, hot summer days, summer colds and so much other hurry-up and busy-ness, it sure is comforting to be reminded of the bigger picture” is awesome. And, I know you’re speaking from experience . . . “sleep deprivation, battles and tattles, potty training…summer colds”☺. This too shall pass, and it IS part of the “bigger picture”.
Michelle, I am so pleased to have you as a lovely daughter-in-law with your beautiful dedication to your family. It’s a joy to know our grandchildren are blessed with a loving and wise mother. Keep up the good work.
